Sulkyland 7
The forum module has been added to Sulkyland 7.
What's new?
- A filter system that allows you to select the type of forum (general, competitions or clan). This is no longer done via the menu, but directly in the filter.
- The filter also allows you to access forums in all worlds without having to “switch worlds”.
- By default, forums are listed in descending order of response, so it's easy to see what's been said recently.
- It's now possible to “bookmark” a discussion, so you'll see a “bookmarked” forum topic as soon as you've added one, so you can quickly review discussions from all forums that interest you.
- Replies are sorted by default in descending order of date of reply, so you'll see the latest replies first, below the subject.
- A filter lets you see all the replies in a topic for a particular nickname.
- A multiple selection system allows you to select several replies and moderate them all at once.
- You can only create a new forum for the clan on the "Clan"-"Clan forums" page.

The messaging module has been implemented in Sulkyland 7 and is fully operational (apart from managing friends and messaging options), so you can use it to read or send messages.
This module lets you test the multiple selection system and the drop-down contextual menu.
As a new feature, it allows you to use a “Reply to all” function and to filter messages by their “Read or Unread” status.
A message can be read directly in the message list, but it will only be marked as read if you click on the message title to see the details of the message.

I've made a lot of progress with the new version, because I've put together a lot of basic building blocks that will enable me to quickly develop a lot of other pages over the coming weeks.
The module I've put in place is for buying and selling horses. I invite you to test it out and let me know about any bugs you find. It's important that you test as you go along, because the sooner bugs are corrected, the easier it is to avoid other bugs in other parts of the programme later on.
Among the new features in this new version:
- The ‘My clan’ - Horses of the clan page is now operational. You can give several horses to a clan member at once, or retire several horses from the clan at once using the selector.
- The ‘Dealer’-‘Sell a horse’ page adds filters for VRS at birth. It also allows you to give a list of selected horses to the clan.
- The “Dealer”-'Buy a horse' page can also be used to filter by VRS birth.
- The “Owner”-'My horses' page now has a selector, which for the time being allows you to assign a ranking to a list of horses. It will allow other grouped actions at a later date (such as changing a trainer or jockey).
I've already noted some requests for improvements that have been suggested to me (such as a “lighter” display of the information in the horse lists so that it can be browsed more quickly), so I'd like to thank all those who have already made suggestions. Those that are retained will be developed as soon as possible.
And thank you to those who have already pointed out bugs, most of which I have been able to correct.
