Christmas promotion
First of all, I’ve finished converting the “moulinette” (the programme that calculates race results, pays out subscription bonuses, retires horses, etc.), which takes a huge weight off my shoulders in terms of the technical capacity required to develop version 6 alongside version 7. There are still quite a few details holding back potential updates to version 6; I’ll sort them out bit by bit. But I’ve, for example, started removing the referral scheme and the blogs from version 6.
So, let’s get back to the main topic of this update. Now that the v7 system is up and running, I’ve been able to make a change that some of you have been waiting for: making the Christmas promotion ‘permanent’.
In fact, there’s no longer a Christmas promotion; there’s simply a new price for buying sulkies, based on a simple rule: 1 euro = 1 million sulkies, all the time. No more sliding-scale rates based on the price paid; the sulky is now a currency with a fixed and stable exchange rate.
As a result, I’ve removed the Kdo points bonus for buying sulkies. However, you can now get more sulkies with your Kdo points (100 Kdo = 500,000 sulkies).
